Equity Fund Raise · Question
Short answer
A manufacturing pitch deck should cover what you make and for whom, how the plant and process work, your customers and order visibility, margins and cost structure, historical financials, the use of the money raised, the team, and the risks with your plan to manage them. Keep it short, factual and consistent with the numbers you will later share in due diligence.
Investors reading a factory business want to understand how money turns into product and back into cash. A deck that only shows a vision and a growth chart leaves out what they most need to see.
A sensible running order is:
Use the same figures that your audited statements show, and flag any projection clearly as a projection. Investors forgive a modest forecast far more readily than an inflated one that unravels during checks.
A components maker
A maker of metal components shows that its plant runs well below installed capacity because of limited finishing equipment. The deck ties the funds directly to adding that equipment and shows how orders already on hand would use the extra capacity.
Keep it readable
One idea per slide, plain language and a short appendix for detail. A deck that can be understood in a few minutes gets a longer meeting.
